Jarunee Suksawat (Ple) vai mẹ AkrinRasa (Poo) là một cô gái mồ côi sống cùng người mẹ kế tham tiền và con gái của bà ta. Rasa luôn cố gắng học tập và làm việc chăm chỉ, tử tế với mọi người. Cho dù người trong gia đình có xem Rasa như cái máy rút tiền thì cô ấy cũng không ngần ngại vì Rasa nghĩ rằng cô nợ họ.
Akrin (Stefan) là một "tay chơi", đẹp trai, giàu có và quyến rũ. Akrin thừa kế một trung tâm thể dục thẩm mỹ M Fitness. Ông của Akrin không hài lòng với cách sống của Akrin vì thế ông đặt ra thời hạn và muốn Akrin kết hôn nếu không sẽ không được thừa kế M Fitness.
As the the marriage deadline slowly approaches and he doesn’t like any of his potential brides, Akrin decides to hire someone as his bride. He hires Rasa, the girl he likes and the only girl in Thailand who has the audacity to reject him every time he makes a move on her. Their marriage will be a sham, it will be for on year and he will pay her 2 million baht ($66,766 USD) total. He will give her 1 million baht at the beginning of their marriage and 1 million baht at the end of their marriage. Rasa accept his offer because she needs the money. Around that time, her foster mother finds herself in the hospital and needs immediate surgery. Thus this is how their life together begins through a fake marriage.
Khi thời hạn kết hôn sắp hết, Akrin quyết định thuê một người làm vợ. Vì vậy Akrin đã thuê Rasa, cô gái mà Akrin để ý, cũng là cô gái duy nhất luôn từ chối Akrin. Vì Rasa đang cần tiền để trả viện phí cho mẹ kế nên Rasa đã đồng ý.
Sau khi kết hôn Akrin và Rasa bắt đầu cuộc hôn nhân giả với rất nhiều trở ngại từ bạn gái cũ của Akrin; em rể của Akrin, người vẫn luôn muốn chinh phục Rasa và chiếm quyền thừa kế của Akrin....
